Our Lime Uurukai is a refreshingly spicy-sour base that is perfect for enhancing many dishes.
We also eat this Uurukai in small quantities with rice or pittu. Due to the few sunny days, preparation is more time-consuming in Germany than in Jaffna, where the islanders have an average of 7.5 hours of intense sunshine a day. This Uurukai is ideal as a broth-like base for soups or marinades.
